The story so far.

Photography has been a passion for Nancy MacDonald since she was gifted her first camera at the age of five. Her passion has continued to grow and has gone on to become her profession.

After graduating from St. Andrews University with an M.A.(Hons) in History of Art, she studied under the renowned Craig MacKay of Pictii. She then went on to study specialist antique development and printing techniques at Central St. Martins – London.

Her passion has taken her around the globe. From the deepest jungles on elephant-back to helicopter rides over the Himalayan foothills, her camera has been her most treasured companion. She has worked for clients from the music and fashion industries. Her photographs have been exhibited in Milan, Dubai, Cyprus, New York, Tokyo and the UK, and printed in several publications including the New York Times and Vogue Italia.

She has recently returned to her roots in the Highlands of Scotland where the unique light and landscapes inspire her and she continues to work both throughout the UK and Internationally.

Driven by an enthusiasm for beautiful images Nancy MacDonald strives for excellence, creating imaginative and dynamic images for a wide spectrum of corporate and private clients.
