The wonder I experienced as a five year old child holding my first, very own camera - a gift from my father - has never left me.
My work as a freelance photographer has taken me around the globe. From the deepest jungles on elephant-back to helicopter rides over the Himalayan foothills, my camera has been my most treasured and trusted companion. I have worked for clients from heritage brands like the National Museums, to music, and fashion labels. Portraiture is my passion.
My photographs have been exhibited in Milan, Dubai, Cyprus, New York, Tokyo and the UK, and printed in publications including the New York Times and Vogue Italia.
After graduating from St. Andrews University with an M.A.(Hons) in History of Art, I studied under the renowned photographer Craig MacKay of Pictii. I then went on to study specialist antique development and printing techniques at Central St. Martins – London. Following this I headed up the photography department for Bonhams - Scotland. My three years of experience and specialist training in this global and divergent company gave enormous breadth to my experience. It also ignited my passion for photographing jewellery.
As part of my freelance work I have become a contributing photographer at Vogue Italia, as a PhotoVoguer. During PhotoVogue's first year, I was honoured to find my images in the winning selection of each competition. This afforded me the most amazing collaborative opportunities in both photography and exhibition.
Driven by an enthusiasm for beautiful images I strive for excellence, creating imaginative and dynamic images for a wide spectrum of clients.
